You are extended an invitation to join and participate in the many activities of the North Carolina Public School Maintenance Association.

There are two basic types of membership:

• Regular Memberships are available to all maintenance employees of various city, county, and state public schools as well as institutions of the community colleges.
• Associate Memberships are available to all people interested in the betterment of public school maintenance including school board members, superintendents, principals, teachers and vendors. Associate Members do not have voting privileges.

One of the most rewarding aspects of NCPSMA membership is a sense of family-a sense of belonging-to an organization with members that have common interests and goals. You are provided opportunities to:

• Meet with colleagues in other local educational agencies (LEAs) on a regular basis
• Attend biannual district meetings
• Attend the NCPSMA Annual Convention/Workshop held at the coast
• Participate in specialized workshops held throughout the year
• Have a voice in the business affairs of the association

Membership Dues are only $20 per year. Membership runs from July 1 to June 30 and are requested by July 1. Membership includes a subscription to The Maintenance Beacon, the monthly publication of NCPSMA. The publication features:

• Technical articles
• Legislative updates
• Stories on LEA activities
• Calendar of LEA activities
• Vendor Lists
• Reports on activities of NCPSMA
