JAY PALMER SCHOLARSHIP

NCPSMA endorsed the Jay Palmer Scholarship Fund in 1989 for public school maintenance personnel, their spouses and children. The scholarship is awarded annually to qualified recipients enrolled in institutions of higher learning.

Eleven $425 scholarships were awarded in 2010.

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS

 

1. Current NCPSMA member and employee of a NC Public School LEA, spouse, child or adopted child of said employed member.
2. Financial need.
3. Acceptance by college of his/her choice.
