A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
Welcome to the 17th Annual Western Conference
NCPSMA Colleagues,
Welcome to the 17th Annual Western Conference
I would like to welcome everybody to the 17th Annual NCPSMA Western Conference. It has been a wonderful year, and I am extremely thankful for you allowing me to be your president of the North Carolina Public School Maintenance Association. Your support while being in this position has been amazing, and that is what continues to drive me to fight in every way for this association and the people who make up this family. This organization has a solid foundation and continues to grow in membership, but more so in our bonding as an association, and the biggest reason we are as strong as we are today.
As we begin this conference, I wanted to let you know there are many classes available on various topics, wonderful vendors available to support each of your roles as employees, and true fellowship that will ensure lasting connections. I hope that once the conference concludes, you’ll be able to return to your school districts with a wealth of knowledge gained that will help you impact your workforce in a great way.
I would also like to send a huge THANKS to our NCPSMA Executive Director Kristie Payne. Her hard work and dedication is beyond exception. Putting this together is no small task, and I truly am grateful for all of the big things that can be seen and for all the small things that make the big things better. When you see Kristie, please let her know how much you appreciate her as well.
If I, or any of our wonderful officers, can be of assistance to you in any way, please don’t hesitate to reach out to any of us. We are all here for you!
I look forward to seeing you and enjoy your experience here in Black Mountain!
God Bless,
Mark Letchworth, NCPSMA State President
Retired Director of Maintenance, Wilson County School District
